I am a Member of the Boy Scouts of America and continue to engage our youth in local conservation and clean-up projects with our community.

We have been conducting the annual "Stoney Point Beautification Project" this being our 6th year.

I am a Viet-Nam veteran and am very involved with the Veterans' organization by sending care packages, and writing letters.

The Scouts attend the annual Flag Placement Ceremony at the VA Cemetery for over 10 years.

I am a father, and mentor to the scout in the West Los Angeles County Council (WLACC) in the Balboa Oaks District.

I am trained in many scout related disciplines including youth Protection, Emergency Preparedness, and training of the principles of leave no trace.

I enjoy camping, water sports, fishing and watching "my Scouts" grow into productive and patriotic Citizens.
