Mission Statement:

Find out what's happening in Clintonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

We are a group of business and professional people who
rely on referrals to grow our business. We strive to know, like and trust each
other to give and possibly receive quality referrals. We believe in giving! We
are positive, local, and excellent at what we do in our respective fields.

The only requirements:

1)      Live and or
operate your business on the CT shoreline between Guilford and Old Saybrook.

2)      Commit to
show up at the meetings every other Thursday at 7:30 am for one hour currently
at Malone’s Coffee shop in Clinton.

3)      Have only
one affiliation to a networking group and that would be us.

4)       Let there be only one occupation or niche
represented in the group and we allow others to join on a first come first serve
basis.

5)       Be willing to help to grow the group by
sharing with us people who you know, like and trust.

6)      There is a
fee of $1 for each meeting per person. This money is going to be used for a
Group website as well as possibly being able to donate to a local charity.

Recommendations to have this be a viable business
activity for your continued success:

1)
Buy the book “Endless Referrals” by Bob Burg and read it over and over
again as well as “Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill and “Networking is a
contact sport” by Joe Sweeney (former agent for Brett Farve).

2) Meet the members of the group
individually for coffee or lunch in between the bi-weekly meetings and get to
know them and find out for yourself how you will know if you are talking to
someone who might be a prospect for them, or not.

3) Train the others in the group how to
identify a potential prospect during a 2-3 minute commercial you’ll have a
chance to give at every meeting.

4) Use this piece to tell others about
us and check with Phil Wieloch just to be sure we are not duplicating any
occupations or niches before inviting someone to join us.

5) Have fun! This group will force us to
meet new people. We were formulated using a Chicago group as mentors. Check it
out.

imagine having 140 members. How cool would that be?
