New Haven Symphony Orchestra In Concert

The
George Flynn Classical Concerts series is proud to present the New Haven
Symphony Orchestra and an afternoon of incandescent ballet music from Russia
and France that will bring Stravinsky’s Firebird, Delibes’s dancing doll
and Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty to
life.

Now
in its 120th year of continuous operation, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra
continues to fulfill its mission of touching the lives of those in the region
with a broad array of musical offerings, played to the highest standards. In
2007, William
Boughton became the tenth Music Director and Principal Conductor of the
New Haven Symphony Orchestra. Under his leadership, programs have expanded both
geographically and musically, with concerts being performed in new venues, and
new partnerships offering opportunities to share the NHSO’s high musical
standards with audiences throughout Connecticut.

The Sunday, November 24th concert will be held at the Morgan
School, 27 Killingworth Turnpike in Clinton. Tickets can be obtained by sending
a self addressed stamped envelope to George Flynn Classical Concerts, PO Box
473, Clinton, CT 06413 or calling 860-669-1208.
