Clinton Community Forums: Affordable Housing and HOPE

The public is invited to the third in a series
of community forums, CLINTON 2020:
Envisioning Our Town
, Affordable Housing and H.O.P.E., Wednesday,
October 16 at 7:00 PM.



Hosted by The Henry Carter Hull Library, in
partnership with the Planning Committee of the P&Z Commission, the forum
will offer residents, realtors and property developers the opportunity to
consider issues that relate the cost of finding a place to live in Clinton.



Can a teacher just starting out find an
affordable rent in town? What is available to a Veteran returning from active
duty? Can long-time Clinton residents find options so that they can downsize
and stay in town?

Representatives from Project H.O.P.E. in Old
Saybrook will share their experiences developing affordable housing opportunities
for people of varying incomes. Liberty Bank officials will be on hand to share
their expertise.



This session will be held at the library.
Refreshments will be served and no registration is necessary.
