Clinton Artist Opening for Leon Russell at Harkness
Local up and coming artist P.J. Tautkus, of Clinton, will be opening for Leon Russell at Harkness on Wednesday, July 31.
P.J. Tautkus, of Clinton, will be appearing onstage during the "Summer Nights at Harkness" Music Series. Tautkus wil open for Leon Russell on Wednesday, July 31. Other openers for the night include David Foster & The Mohegan Sun Blues All-Stars
and the Blues Youth Performance.
The well-known concert series at the memorial state park kicks off on July 18 and continues for almost a full month, until August 15. Other artists performing this year include Judy Collins, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Carl Tenor, and many more artists. Tickets are available online.
P.J. started playing at the age of 10 during his rehabilitation from a motorcycle accident, and he received formal training right here in Clinton. He's played over 70 gigs in the last 2 and a half years all over Connecticut.
