William "Willie" Fritz, Jr., a Democrat, is the town's First Selectman. His office is on the first floor of AndrewsMore Memorial Town Hall. Notices of regularly scheduled Board of Selectmen meetings are available on the town's website and are posted at town hall. Regular meetings take place every Wednesday and alternate between 8am or 7pm. Please check the schedule for any special meetings. The five-member Board of Selectmen consists of Fritz, Ray Apel (R), Dolly Mezzetti (D), Thomas Vicino (D) and Carol Walter (R).
