The Social Services Department of the Town of Clinton is located in the historic Academy Building, first floor, across the street from Andrews Memorial Town Hall. Cheryl Church, coordinator, is there to help Clinton residents who need state aid such as food stamps, Medicaid, energy and heat assistance and other programs such as ConnPace (pharmaceutical assistance to the elderly and disabled) and more. The department provides non-perishable food and/or fuel assistance for those who are in an emergency situation.
