Conn-Men And Duke's Men Coming To Clinton
Proceeds will be used to develop handicap accessibility to the Clinton Food Pantry currently serving over 129 families.

The Collegiate Sing-off is an all male a cappella singing competition featuring the University of Connecticut’s “Conn-Men” and Yale University’s “Duke’s Men” It will take place Sunday October 6, 2013 at 4PM in Andrews Memorial Town Hall, Clinton. Tickets are $20. for adults and $10. for students and may be purchased in advance by calling 860-552-4028 or by e-mail at holyadvent@sbcglobal.net or Shore TV and Appliance. Remaining tickets may be purchased at the door.

The Conn-Men, now in its 12th year, are an elite group of singers known both in New England and across the country. Their focus is on musicianship and performance presence producing one beautiful sound. This group has performed at the White House and has won several awards including Best A Capella Group in 2010. Currently, the Conn-Men are in the process of producing their first musical album.

The Duke’s Men now in its 41st year claim to be the “best looking” and “most scandalous” of the Yale a cappellas. The Duke’s Men were founded by Duke Henning master of Saybrook College and a former Whiffenpoof. The Duke’s stole a Whiff arrangement and hence their reputation. They are an affectionately known group around the world charming preschoolers and presidents alike.
This wonderfully joyful event sponsored by Holy Advent Episcopal Church Clinton has a purpose as well. Proceeds will be used to develop handicap accessibility to the Clinton Food Pantry currently serving over 129 families.
