CHS Garden Committee Seeks Volunteers

Put those green thumbs to work at the "Old Brick" gardens!

Attention gardeners!

The announced that they're looking for volunteers to help out with maintaining the gardens at "Old Brick," the 1750 Elisha White House:

"The gardens look absolutely spectacular, but weeds don't walk away by themselves.  We need some helping hands to prune, water, weed, feed, mulch, and even occasionally cut some blooms to use in arrangements for CHS events."

So whether you'd like to help out a little or a lot, stop by a committee meeting on Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m.

The committee is also seeking members capable of helping out with some heavy-lifting tasks, so bring along a strong friend!

Contact Dianne Gustafson at 860-669-9971 with your questions.

PJ - I'd call Dianne Gustafson, but I believe they meet at the CHS headquarters at The Old Brick on East Main Street.
