Children Collect Food & Supplies For The Needy

This Summer, Students At The Red Barn Children's Center Help Fill A Need

Even kids realize that some families need help every once in a while.

The children in the summer program (and their parents) collected non-perishable food products and items such as diapers for , a non-profit organization based in Clinton.

The Red Barn Children's center, run by Linda N. Stuhlman, is a pre-school located at 125 Kelseytown Road in Clinton.

Families Helping Families, run by all volunteers, collects food, supplies (such as toothpaste and laundry detergent) and monetary funds for fuel assistance for Clinton families in need. All the money donated stays in town.

Many organizations such as the Red Barn, hold a special drive in which they donated food and other items to Families Helping Families.

Just recently, everyone else in town can drop off any non-perishable food items, supplies and money to on 11 East Main Street. It has been designated as a permanent drop-off center for Families Helping Families.  Folks can donate their items at the store when it is open (hours: Mon., Tues., Wed., and Sat. 9am - 5:30pm; Thurs. 9am - 7pm; Sunday - closed)
