I've been hard at work on the sequel to my Young Adult novel, The Pen & the Sword. I wrote the first book, set here on the Connecticut shoreline, while living in the desert in Las Vegas, but I've been putting the pen to paper for the sequel here in the beautiful little shoreline town of Clinton. And half of the story is set in Las Vegas. Funny how things work out like that sometimes.
In the follow up, The Beautiful & the Damned, we jump into the beginning of summer vacation for our heroes Nick & Mina.
The events of The Pen & the Sword have put them at odds as to what they are supposed to do with their new found powers. And this arch of the story will bring more werecreatures, vampires and ghosts to get your imagination flowing along with the favorites from the first book. Along with a whole lot of teenage drama and hormones.
