My first blog post here on The Clinton Patch will focused on my first novel, the Pen & the Sword. The writing of this book and getting it out into the world has brought me all over the country and across the paths of some of the most amazing people. But writing is for the most part a lonely en-devour. The writer alone kicking all the ideas out of their head onto paper or computer or rock wall or whatever is closest when there just isn't enough room in one's head any longer. The Pen & the Sword is a Young Adult novel, YA, set on the Connecticut Shoreline. What's it about you ask :)- Nick gets a pen and the ability to document the supernatural world - Mina gets a sword and super powers. Nick does not think this is remotely fair.
