Did you know? The town of Durham is exactly half-way between where the Patriots and the Giants play ball.
Because of that unique location, local sports media ESPN is coming to Durham on Super Bowl Sunday.
The network's flagship program, Sports Center, is looking to build on the drama of Super Bowl 46 with a few local segments from the geographical midpoint of Foxborough and Met Life Stadiums.
Four years ago, hundreds of Giants and Patriots fans filled the town green in support of their teams and to celebrate the town's unique claim of being the center of the Patriots and Giants universe.
This year's rally will be held on the Coginchaug High School football field from 6:30am to 10am on Sunday, Feb. 5.
ESPN anchor Karl Ravech will report live from Durham from 7am to 10am, including interviews with residents!
Wear your favorite team shirt and come and have some fun.
Stay tuned to Patch for more details of the event.
