UPDATE: Clinton's Team Lighting to Play in CT Cup Finals This Weekend

Congratulations to the Girls U12 Team Lighting- they have been winning their way to the top all season to qualify for the CT Cup Finals! Come support them at the finals, which will be played this Saturday, June 15!

UPDATED Story: 

The GU12 Team Lightning has made it to the CT Cup finals June 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
 

Due to inclement weather Simsbury cannot field the CT Cup final games so they have been moved to Tunxis Meade complex in Farmington.

The time has also changed to 1:00 PM.

Directions are as follows.
Approximately 57 minutes and 41.12 miles
 

  1. Take Killingworth turnpike CT-81 north (12.1 miles)
  2. Take Route 9 north towards Middletown (20.1 miles)
  3. Merge onto CT-72 W via exit 28 on the left toward Bristol (3.6 miles)
  4. Merge onto CT-72 W via exit 33 toward Bristol (0.5 miles)
  5. Take exit 2 toward CT-372/New Britain Ave./Plainville (0.4 miles)
  6. Turn left onto New Britain Ave/CT-372 (0.09 Miles)
  7. Take first right onto Cooke Street (1.4 Miles)
  8. Cooke street becomes Main St/CT-10 (1.3 miles)
  9. Turn Left onto Meadow Road (0.9 miles)
  10. Stay straight to go onto Red Oak Hill Rd (0.3 miles)
  11. Take 1st right onto Tunxis Meade Rd (0.01 Miles)
  12. 1 Tunxis Meade Road is on the left

The Clinton Girls U12 Team Lightning is in the CT Cup finals- A big congratulations to them!

The finals are being played at 11:00 AM in Curtis Park, 62 Tarifville Road, Simsbury, CT. Team Lighting will be facing off against Wallingford.

Show your support for this Clinton team by wishing them good luck in the comments or head to their game on Saturday to cheer them on in person!
