Your Guide to Morgan School Graduation Day 2013

Here's what you need to know before The Morgan School Graduation on Wednesday, June 26- including parking, inclement weather plans and traffic.

The Morgan School will hold its 2013 commencement ceremony this Wednesday, June 26.

Here's a preview of what you need to know before you go. 

Schedule for June 26

Graduation Rehearsal: 10 AM
Graduation: 6 PM (Grads should be at school by 4:45 PM)
Project Graduation: 8:30 PM

Commencement Ceremony

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 26, at 6 PM at  Fletcher Field adjacent to The Morgan School, weather permitting.  If there is inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors in the gymnasium. Currently, there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 PM on Wednesday, but a mostly sunny forecast otherwise according to the National Weather Service. Highs for the day will be in the mid 80s. 

Brochures

There will be Commencement brochures available at the ceremony. The brochures will have a full list of graduates in it.

Where to Park

According to the school's website, parking will be difficult. The site recomends car-pooling and drop-offs. According to the Main Office, parking will be at a first come first serve basis for the school's lot. Attendees can also park across the street at the Outlets, the office also stated. 

Traffic

There will be a Police Officer directing traffic before and after the ceremony. The school's Main Office stated that about 10-15 minutes or more before and after the ceremony there will be quite a few cars in the area. So, if you are planning on attending or heading through that area Wednesday evening, be prepared to hit a little traffic.
