Representatives for the project, Newman Architects of New Haven, were on hand to describe the design and answer questions. They were chosen in July by the committee to design the new building.

The new school will be built on a 36-acre piece of property purchased this year from Clinton Nurseries. The address is 71 Route 81, just north of the current site.

Tonight, Dec. 12, there will be a town meeting to decide whether or not to approve the purchase of 69-69A Killingworth Turnpike (an existing house on the property) for the purpose of the New Morgan School.

Funding for the new $64.75 million Morgan School passed in a referendum held this April.  The vote was 2,058 in favor to 2,018 against, a difference of 40 votes.

So, what did you think?
