O'Brien Wins Crosby Environmental Scholarship

Sean O'Brien is a 2012 graduate of The Morgan School and plans to attend Quinnipiac University this fall

Morgan School graduate Sean O'Brien has been selected as the 2012 winner of the Alice and David Crosby Environmental Scholarship from the Clinton Land Conservation Trust.

O'Brien, who recalls spending his summers fishing, crabbing, clamming, and hiking, plans to study biology this fall at Quinnipiac University, the news release says.

Once he completes his bachelor's degree, O'Brien would like to pursue a career in the medical field.

The Alice and David Crosby Environmental Scholarship is a $1,000 grant from the Clinton Land Conservation Trust (CLCT) awarded each year to a Clinton resident finishing up high school with intentions to study the environment or its preservation.

Patch and the CLCT wish Sean the best of luck this fall at college.
