Chamber Connections: Summer Home Safety & Security Seminar

With summer right around the corner and July and August being the worst months for home break-ins, Comcast is partnering with the Clinton Police Department to host a “Chamber Connections” event focused on how to keep your home safe during the summer.  Old Saybrook and Clinton Chamber of Commerce members are invited to attend the free networking and informational event being held at Comcast’s newly-opened interactive, Xfinity Customer Service Center in Clinton. The seminar will feature Corporal Craig Lee from the Clinton Police Department and Doug Bassett, Comcast's National Senior Director of Xfinity Home and a home security industry expert with 20+ years of experience, providing summer home safety and security tips and discussing overall security industry evolution and the various competitors and product options for residential customers.  Comcast will also provide live demos of its new home security/home automation product, XFINITY® Home.  XFINITY® Home is your total home security and home control solution. Turn on your lights before you even walk into your home. Get a text alert when your kids get home from school. Even watch live footage of your home from your PC or Smartphone.  Food and refreshments will be provided and all guests will leave with a Comcast goodie bag filled with give-a-ways and a summer home safety and security tips sheet. Seating is limited and Chamber member attendees will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please RSVP to the Clinton Chamber of Commerce at 860-669-3889 or chamber@clintonct.com or the Old Saybrook Chamber at 860-388-3266 or karen@oldsaybrookchamber.com by Friday, June 8th.
