Ethan Rode was named school champion at Morgan's Poetry Out Loud contest that was held on Friday, Feb. 17, Clinton Public Schools announced on its website.
On March 21, Rode will head to the state Poetry Out Loud competition at Southern Connecticut State University's John Lyman Center of the Arts.
