Eliot Band Visits 'Music In The Parks' At Hershey

The seventh and eighth graders performed two songs at the Pennsylvania park

 

Seventh and eighth graders from spent the weekend of May 4 to 6 in Hershey, Penn., for their "Music in the Parks" field trip.

According to an email to Patch, the symphonic band, made up of 52 students, played two songs at the show--"The Forge of Vulcan" and "The Curse of Tutankhamun."

Judges gave the Eliot band an "excellent" rating, the email says.

Eliot band director Ross Tucker told Patch that he hopes to repeat the trip next year.
