These College And University Students, All From Clinton, Deserve Special Recognition And A Big Congratulations From Patch And The Community

Resident Tara Samartano is named to Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts Dean's List. Samartano, a member of the class of 2012, received a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Anna Kadlof is named to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield’s Dean's List for the fall semester. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.

Brian Mitko, a sophomore at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York was named captain of the Men's Varsity Soccer team as a junior. Mitko also plays lacrosse and is majoring in sports medicine.

Eryn Wissenbach is named to Springfield College dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2010 term. Wissenbach is a third-year student whose major field of study is art therapy.

Jack Berry and Andrea Lee are named to the Dean's List at the University of New Haven for the fall 2010 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the Dean's List.

At Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, two students from Clinton, Steven French, a junior accounting student and Christopher Patterson, a junior finance student, are named to the Dean's List.

Jaime Mugavero, Zachary Powers, and Nicole Vincelette are named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2010 Semester at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic.

Jocelyn Rose, a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice, Eliott Eimutus, a sophomore majoring in Finance, and James Kostek, a junior majoring in industrial engineering, are named the Dean's List at Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Christofer Anderson, Vanessa Baez and Megan Gilbert, all Quinnipiac University students from Clinton, made the dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester.

Clinton native Maribeth Simmons, a junior at SUNY Potsdam and a member of the women’s soccer team, was named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Academic team, Commissioner's List, and the President's List.

The following students at the University of Connecticut made the Dean’s List: Mitchell DeMazza, Sydney Dowd, Justin Irmscher, Maria Paradis, Jennifer Shanahan, Sarah Synott, Heather White, and Zoe Wichman.
