Westbrook Man Gets One Year Prison Sentence
The restaurant owner evaded $1.4 million in taxes
Luciano G. Mase, 56, of Westbrook, has been sentenced to one year in jail for tax evasion charges, the New Haven Register reported.
According to the article, Mase, owner of Moreland Corp., operated in New London and evaded seven years of the restaurant's taxes. The taxes owed have been valued at $1.4 million dollars.

Mase will be placed under supervised release for three years after completing his jail sentence, and he also must pay a $5,000 fine, the Register reported.
