Vote Wednesday in Clinton

It's May 8 and that means it's the day of the budget referendum vote in Clinton. Polls are open from 6am to 8pm at town hall.

The town of Clinton is holding its budget referendum vote today, Wed., May 8 from 6am to 8pm at town hall. 

All voters, electors and others qualified to vote in a budget referendum are encouraged to come out and vote. Electors are people who own property in town but who are not residents. You need to own property assessed at $1,000 or more as stated on the town's Grand List to vote. 

The vote is held in the green room, downstairs at Clinton Town Hall.  Please remember to bring your photo I.D. 

The two questions on the referendum are as follows:   

Question #1:   In favor of the proposed Town Government Budget of the Town of Clinton for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 in the amount of $15,391,209.     YES       NO   

Question #2:   In favor of the proposed Board of Education Budget of the Town of Clinton for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 in the amount of $31,406,501.     YES       NO

Results of the vote will be posted on the Clinton Patch as they are announced at the close of polls.
