Vote Today! 6am - 8pm At Town Hall

Today's Vote Is For The Reduced, Proposed $31.13 Million School Budget For 2011-2012

Polls are open today at Andrews Memorial Town Hall from 6am to 8pm for voters and electors to mark "yes" or "no" in favor of the proposed $31.13 million school budget.

All voting is held in the Green Room (downstairs) area of Clinton Town Hall. Polls open at 6am and close promptly at 8pm. 

Registered voters as well as electors (those owning property in town valued at $1,000 or more on the current grand list) are encouraged to vote.

Last week, the Board of Finance cut the school budget by an additional $75,000 making the total of cuts on the proposed ’11-’12 budget $419,772.

The question on the June 8 ballot will ask voters and electors if they are “in favor of the proposed Board of Education Budget of $31,137,306 for fiscal year 2011-2012.”  Mark yes or no.
