Vicino Defeats Samperi to Win 35th State Representative Seat

In a vote of 6,323 to 5,202, Democrat Vicino takes the lead and the position over his challenger, Republican John Samperi.

 

It was Republican John Samperi, a Killingworth resident vs. Democrat Tom Vicino, a Clinton resident, in the race for the 35th assembly district state representative seat.

The 35th district includes the towns of Clinton, Killingworth and parts of Westbrook.

Vicino won by a total vote of 6,323 to 5,202, a difference of 1,121 votes.
