TOWN OF CLINTON

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

The electors of the Town of Clinton and all other citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the said Town of Clinton are hereby notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, Connecticut to hear and consider the following:

RESOLVED: to approve the line item transfer from Police Contract Settlement by reducing $333,173.00 from Reserves and increasing Police Salaries-Regular by $204,937.00, Police Salaries-Overtime by $94,633.00, Police Salaries-Holiday by $9,927.00 and Fringe Benefits Social Security by $23,676.00.

RESOLVED:  to approve the line item transfer from Storm Irene by reducing $1,452,000.00 from Reserves and increasing Communication Salaries-Overtime by $2,000.00, Police Salaries-Overtime by $11,000.00, Public Works Overtime-Emergency by $19,000.00 and Public Works Hurricane Irene by $1,420,000.00.

RESOLVED:  to approve the line item transfer from Other General Government by reducing Contingency by $28,000.000 and increasing Fringe Benefits Police Plan-Highway by $28,000.00.

RESOVED: to  approve the line item transfer from Other General Government by reducing Contingency by $67,000.00 and increasing Fringe Benefits Pension Plan-Other by $67,000.00.
