Special Town Meeting Scheduled 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Will Consider Brownfield Grant

There is a special town meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 30th at 6:30 PM in the Green Room of the Town Hall to accept the $200,000 Brownfield Remediation and Development Grant.

First Selectman Willie Fritz the grant is site and project specific, and that it relates to a proposal to build a hockey/skating rink at the old landfill site on Old Nod Road in Clinton.

LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF CLINTON

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING 

The electors of the Town of Clinton and all other citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the said Town of Clinton are hereby notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall, 54 East Main Street, Clinton, Connecticut to hear and consider the following:

RESOLVED: to accept the $200,000 Brownfield Remediation and Development Grant with no matching funds required to conduct a site assessment/feasibility study at the Old Landfill located on Old Nod Road for the construction of a hockey/skating facility.
