Appointment of Lynn Pinder (D) As Selectman Is Expected This Morning

In a special meeting today at 9am, the motion to approve Lynn Pinder for Selectman Dolly Mezzetti's vacated seat is anticipated.

 

The Clinton Board of Selectmen is holding a Special Meeting this morning, July 3 at 9am at , with one agenda item:

To appoint Lynn M. Pinder (D) to the Board of Selectmen.

If the motion is approved, Pinder will fill what is called an interim appointment until the next regular election which is November of 2013.

Pinder is proposed to replace Selectman Dolly Mezzetti (D)

Pinder is a local attorney with the firm of .  She was the former chairman of the town's Water Pollution Control Commission.

In addition, Pinder served/serves on the Youth & Family Services Bureau Board, the Charter Review Commission, the , and the Democratic Town Committee.
