Registration Is Open For World Cafe Event

The First Selectman's Task Force on Substance Abuse second annual World Cafe event will be held on Wednesday, April 25

 

Register now the First Selectman's Task Force on Substance Abuse , scheduled for Wednesday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m.

According to the , the event is a "chance for adults to share stories, challenges and tips about dealing with what matters most in our lives - young people."

"Parents and other individuals who interact with youth in our community will have the chance to discuss real-life scenarios in small groups."

The goal of the World Cafe is to "support one another, learn new skills and create a network of Clinton adults who all value and empower our young people," the event posting says.

Parents with kids of all ages are invited to attend the event. Pizza will be served and babysitting will be available. 

This event, which will be held at the First Church of Christ Congregational, is free, and you can register online at Eventbrite.com.
