Lynn Pinder Voted In As Selectman

Unanimous vote by 4-member Board of Selectmen

 

Lynn M. Pinder, a Democrat, was voted in this morning as the newest member of the Clinton Board of Selectmen.

She will assume this role until the next general election held November of 2013.

The vote was a unanimous vote by the remaining members of the board including First Selectman Willie Fritz (D) and Selectmen Tom Vicino (D), Carol Walter (R) and John Giannotti (R).

Pinder, who formerly chaired the town's Water Pollution Control Commission, works as an attorney in town at .

"I come here in the best interests of the town with no agenda," said Pinder. "I will be open-minded and transparent and will vote objectively on the issues, not politically or personally."
