Finance Board Reduces Budget In Preparation Of Second Referendum

The Clinton Board of Finance voted on $276,625 in overall reductions to the proposed budget, bringing the increase in the tax rate to an estimated .25 rise in the mill rate.

The new budget numbers of $15,211,584 for the town and $31,309,501 for the schools will be presented at a public hearing this Wed., May 15 at 7pm at Clinton Town Hall.

The second budget referendum vote is scheduled for May 22.
