Governor Malloy in anticipation of storm Sandy has issued a “State of Emergency” in Connecticut. This is the time residents should consider evacuating, especially those in low lying areas. I am also declaring a “State of Emergency” in Clinton. This will allow for further planning, action and clean-up efforts. It also triggers FEMA requirements for tracking of activities. The (Emergency Management) team will meet as scheduled at 11am tomorrow.
