WTNH is reporting just after 1 p.m. that a truck rollover in Guilford, CT between Exits 58 and 59 is blocking I-95 Northbound and that the state Department of Transportation is estimating it could take up to two hours to clear.
The Town of Guilford is reporting on its Facebook Page that: "At this time there is a major motor vehicle accident on I-95 in Guilford between exits 58 (Rt77 / Durham Rd) and 59 (Goose Ln) The highway is closed and traffic backed up on I-95 an Route 1. Police ask that motorists seek alternate routes. Motorists may exit in Branford or East Haven to use Route 80 east to Rt 79 south where they can renter I-95 northbound. One Lane is expected to be opened by 2:00p.m. but traffic will remain stop & go for some time. Motorists are again advised to seek alternate routes."
