------------------------- Brief Summary of Incident -----------------------

On 01/22/2014 at 0819 hours members of the Clinton Police department executed a search and seizure warrant for illegal drugs(Cocaine) at 15 Liberty Lane in Clinton. This was after information was developed that the above subject was selling cocaine. Upon entry to the residence the subject attempted to hide illegal drugs he had on his person. He was secured and arrested. Police located cocaine in individual packets for sale, drug packaging, cutting agents and paraphernalia in the residence. Police also seized $18,000.00 cash from the residence.

When the accused was arrested it was determined he had two separate identifications in his possession. One for Roger Martins and another for Sandro Dias Bimini. He was finger printed through the automated fingerprint identification system (AFIS). As a result of AFIS it was determined that he had previously been arrested in 2007 for Assault with a firearm under a 3rd. name  Allen Almedia. At that time he was also deported to his native Brazil. It is unclear how he made re-entry but he has insisted his real name is Rogerio Martins and the other names are alias he used in the past.

The suspect has been charged with Possession of cocaine, Possession of cocaine with intent to sell, Operating a drug factory, Possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with a search warrant. The US Department of immigration has also issued a detainer on Martins. Martins is being held at Clinton PD on a $250,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Middletown superior court on 01-23-14 at 0900 hrs.
