No Major Traffic Delays Reported Yet

Connecticut State Police F in Westbrook said traffic is pretty quiet on I-95 Monday afternoon.

Further north however, Connecticut State Police Troop E in Montville are advising motorists to expect delays on I-95.

"There is traffic everywhere, it's Fourth of July," said a dispatcher from Troop E in Montville.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported one accident in Waterford caused a brief delay this afternoon on I-95 southbound. The accident closed the right lane between exits 83 and 82 for about 30 minutes.

As of 4 p.m. no major congestion was being reported by the state DOT.
