Clinton Police Arrests: March 14 - 20

The following arrest information is supplied by the Clinton Police Department.  It does not indicate a conviction.

 

From March 14 -18, the Clinton Police issued 12 summons to appear for charges such as creating a public disturbance, simple trespass, operating an unregistered vehicle, failure to have working taillights, traveling unreasonably fast, failing to drive in the proper lane, evading, and possession of less than a 1/2 ounce of marijuana.

Police arrested Joseph Baker, 22, of Diamond Drive in Clinton with charges of operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, traveling unreasonably fast, possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

Carol Boughton, 70, of Jefferson Circle in Clinton was arrested and charged with breach of peace (fight, cause, capable of causing injury) in a domestic-family dispute.

Police arrested Ronnie Jinkens, 55, of Waterside Lane in Clinton with charges of operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, operating a motor vehicle without a license, improper use of a registration or license, and operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone.

March 19

Joshua Martin, 25, of Beach Road in Clinton was arrested and charged with the criminal violation of a protective order.

March 20

Police arrested David Nazario, 21, of Sol’s Point Road in Clinton with charges of the illegal manufacture, distribution, sale, and/or dispensing of a controlled substance in or within 1,500 feet of a school, burglary in the third degree (building), larceny in the fifth degree (theft from a building) and weapons violation (possession a sawed-off shotgun).

Brett Tucker, 19, of Allendale Road in Old Saybrook was arrested and charged with conspiracy and the illegal manufacture, distribution, sale, and/or dispensing of a controlled substance in or within 1,500 feet of a school.
