Clinton Police Arrests: January 3 - January 9

The following arrest information is supplied by the Clinton Police Department.  It does not indicate a conviction.

 

January 3

Clinton Police arrested Carlos Atwood, 48, of Clinton Road in Killingworth with charges of larceny in the sixth, theft from a building.

Matthew Cote, 26, of Boston Post Road in Westbrook was arrested by police and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, operating of a vehicle with a suspended registration and/or license, failure to have working tail lamp and marker lamps, and not having adequate insurance coverage.

January 4

Police arrested Charles Koelle, 64, of Jefferson Circle in Clinton with charges of disorderly conduct in a domestic – family dispute.

Thomas Purwinis, 56, of Old Jewitt City Road in Preston, CT was arrested by the Clinton Police and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

January 5

Police arrested Kevin Noonan, 42, of Horse Pond Road in Madison with charges of operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, failing to drive in the proper lane, and traveling unreasonably fast.

Melvyn Smith, Jr., 55, of Old Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook was arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree – shoplifting.

January 8

Jackie Damico, 34, of Nod Road in Clinton was arrested and charged with larceny in the sixth degree – shoplifting.

Police arrested Jonathan Linko, 29, of Town Street in Haddam with charges of issuing a bad check and larceny in the sixth degree.

January 9

Louis Masselli, 37, of Melloy Road in West Haven was arrested by police and charged with larceny in the third degree – shoplifting.

Police arrested Josue Afanador, 36, of Merrill Road in Clinton with charges of breach of peace.
