Information for this article was provided by the Clinton Police Department:

Clinton police, on tips from neighbors to the accused, arrested Shea Decesare, 39, of Oak Ridge in Clinton on May 9, during the course of a motor vehicle stop.

Police had been watching Decesare's residence after receiving numerous complaints from neighbors and others who suspected her of drug dealing over the past year.

As a result of the investigation and surveillance of the residence, police conducted the motor vehicle stop in which Decesare was operating a vehicle owned by her friend, Caitlin Creeron. Creeron was a passenger in the vehicle.

Upon pulling the vehicle over, police located 45 bags of heroin, 25 bags of crack cocaine, a crack pipe and needles in the vehicle.

Decesare was arrested and charged with:

  • Two counts of sale of narcotics
  • Possession of narcotics (cocaine) with intent to sell
  • Possession of narcotics (heroin) with intent to sell
  • Possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school
  • Conspiracy to sell narcotics
The passenger in the vehicle, Creeron, age 31, was also charged with possession of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics.

It was determined Decesare had sold narcotics to Creeron and others just prior to the motor vehicle stop, said police.

Decesare was held on $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior court May 10.
