the Clinton physician from Glastonbury accused of sexually assaulting three of his female patients, could face up to 10 more accusers.
Officials today charged Westbrook with five additional sexual assault charges and have indicated that there could be five more cases to be brought against Westbrook, the Hartford Courant reports.
Meanwhile, a judge in Middletown Superior Court today agree to keep sealed the arrest affidavits in the cases, at the request of prosecutors. In all, police in Clinton and Manchester say they are investigating as many as 20 additional complaints from former patients of Westbrook's who live in those towns.
Westbrook was in court today and pleaded not guilty to the current charges pending against him.
His lawyer, Norm Pattis, told WTIC AM news that Westbrook is the victim of unfounded accusations by some of his former patients and that Westbrook was conducting legitimate medical examinations.
