If you are looking to enjoy your dining experience and contribute to a worthy cause, you are in luck! Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore, CT, Inc. has a Dine Out program that will not cost you anything extra. Simply eat out on Wednesday February  27th at Cohen’s Bagel Company in Madison, mention you are there to support Literacy Volunteers, present a coupon that you can download from our website and a portion of your bill goes to us. What could be easier? Mark the date on your calendar and come out to support the cause!

Remember, Wednesday  February 27th, Cohen’s at 1347 Boston Post Road in Madison will donate 15% of the proceeds for from your total bill (excluding tax and tip) to Literacy Volunteers from any sale that day. Please bring in the coupon, which can be obtained on our website at www.vsliteracy.org or from our office by calling 860-399-0280.

Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore CT., Inc. provides tutoring services in a confidential setting with adult students learning English as a Second Language or basic adult literacy in a one-to-one relationship. All services are completely free of charge to all students.  

LVVS, founded in 1978 serves Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Killingworth, Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Madison and Westbrook.

The contractor has finished installing the new drainage crossings to handle the storm water on theRead More road surface. We are waiting for the paving contractor to start reclaiming and milling the road in preperation for new asphalt. The catchbasin tops will be installed just prior to repaving when the milling and reclaiming work is completed.
