5th Annual Beach Jam For Breast Cancer August 10th

On Saturday August 10th, The Westbrook Elks and Connecticut's hottest party band Free Play will be hosting the 5th Annual Beach Jam for Breast Cancer fundraiser. The event will be held at the Westbrook Elks Lodge #1784, 142 Seaside Avenue, Westbrook. Last year, the fundraiser set a new record of $20K. All proceeds went direct to the patient care services at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. And that is what sets this amazing fundraiser apart from others. The money raised goes directly to the comfort and support of the patients. It helps cover the cost of items that help the cancer patient during treatment and during recovery that is NOT covered by insurance. This year, The Cancer Center at Middlesex Hospital will also receive funds.
