Public Works wants Heavy duty utility trailer

I just read in the Harbor News, that there is a town meeting, Wednesday March 12 th, to take $195,000 from the undesignated surplus fund, to purchase a Heavy-Duty Utility Vehicle for the Public Works Dept.  What I would like to know is, what kind of vehicle this is and why is it costing so much money.  I have Googled Heavy- Duty Utility Vehicles.  they are nothing but a golf-cart sized vehicles with small dump bodies. However, they do have attachments that you can buy for them. The most expensive Heavy-Duty vehicle with all kinds of attachments would cost around $90,000 at the most, and I'm adding more to that, because I don't know what they have in mind on getting.  What I would really like to know is WHAT the Public Works considers a Heavy-Duty Utility Vehicle?  I think there should be some explaining to the taxpayers before this meeting , so, we know exactly what they need $195,000.00 for. This amount is way out of league for this type  of vehicle. What else is this money going for, that they don't  want us to know about.  we have every right to know what's going on with OUR money.
