Chamard Vineyards Says Thanks

Look for their new bistro by Columbus Day weekend.

This letter is written by Jeff Vernon, General Manager of Chamard Vineyards:

Chamard Vineyards is very excited to announce that we have been granted permission from the Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission to open a bistro and serve fresh food from local farms.

This is a huge step and a pivotal decision in preserving Connecticut farm land.

Chamard's agribusiness will be a model for sustainable farming throughout Connecticut and beyond.

We are thankful for the support of the Commission, our neighbors and the Clinton community. This has been a long and extensive process and I am appreciative that so many listened to our vision for farm land and voiced their support.

The Clinton Patch has offered a great forum for our discussion and dissemination of information within the community.

We plan to open the bistro Columbus Day weekend and look forward to welcoming everyone at Chamard Vineyards.

Congratulations neighbor! I just hope it will be Handicap friendly...accessible, and normal sized chairs for dining...
