"Walter L. Czapiga, age 88, of Clinton passed away on Tuesday afternoon, September 10, 2013 at the West Haven Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven. Walter was the beloved husband of the late Mildred (Kroupa) Czapiga. Walt had been a resident of Clinton for over 60 years and was formerly of Deep River. He had worked as a foreman in the shipping department at the L.C. Doane Company in Centerbrook for over 30 years."
