Cultural Event: Henna Body Art for Teens at the Library

The Henry Carter Hull Library recently hosted an after school teen event entitled Henna Body Art.  At this event, Clinton teens learned about the origin and history of Henna, as well as the differences in regional designs and traditions associated with the use of henna in eastern cultures.  All participants had the opportunity to choose a henna design for application by a local henna artist.  The Henry Carter Hull Library would like to thank John and Ramesh Hussaini of Subway in Clinton for their generous sponsorship of this event.  With continued community support the Henry Carter Hull library is able to offer quality programming and cultural awareness activities to Clinton teens.
