Warm Weather, School Vacation Results In Lots Of Hammo Visitors

Have you been to the beach to soak up some sun this week?

 

The New Haven Register is reporting that saw "a sharp rise" in beachgoers on Monday, due to the sunny weather and school breaks.

Park Supervisor Jack Hine told The Register that between 15,000 and 20,000 stopped by the beach on Monday, noting that they were mostly locals.

According to the article, Hine recommends that beach-goers visit East Beach, Meigs Point Beach and Middle Beach and save West Beach as an alternative, as the restrooms there are not quite ready yet.
