Clinton's Preschool Initiative, Best Beginnings, is collecting new pajamas, slippers, socks, and underwear for children. Please bring your contributions to Henry Carter Hull library, Joel School, or Red Barn Children's Center by December 14. Items will be distributed through Clinton Social Services. It is one way to give children "warm fuzzies" and perhaps in a small way contribute to their basic needs. Once children's most basic needs are met, they learn better. Best Beginning's mission is to promote the development of every Clinton child, ages birth through five. Scholarships are given, Library Preschool is offered, parent and child activities are held, and workshops are available for parents and professionals.
