On December 6, 2011, Mr. Marc Fomby treated Clinton students and parents to an educational, entertaining presentation about the not-so-hidden messages in today’s music. His mission was clear: help youth and adults to be active consumers of media by exposing them to the truth behind music lyrics and slang terms. His presentation got everyone thinking and talking, just as the students who were behind his appearance in Clinton hoped. Mr. Fomby’s motto, “You can learn something every day...and you should!” has been repeated in the halls and classrooms of Morgan all week, and Facebook was buzzing with positive feedback from students.
