Jobs Bill Rollout Comes to Clinton

The "Jobs Rollout" comes to Clinton town hall on December 19th. State officials will provide an overview of the recent legislation that is meant to help stimulate job creation in Connecticut.

The Job Creation legislation that was passed in the special session this Fall will be the major focus of a presentation on Monday, December 19th at 8am in the Andrews Memorial Town Hall.

Catherine Smith, Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development, will be on hand to provide attendees with the specific elements of the bi-partisan, nearly unanimous, bill adopted by the General Assembly on October 26th.

Incentives, small business assistance, regional initiatives, infrastructure proposals, and a wide variety of ideas, programs, and funding opportunities will be explained by the Commissioner and other agency representatives.  Questions related to issues specific to our region are welcomed and feedback is a hoped for byproduct of this presentation.
