New Colors for Fall!

Check out the new fall colors! j

It just seems like I was talking about new colors for Spring and now here we are with new colors for Fall!!  The big news in color is grey – especially grey with yellow!  In the picture you can see grey being used as the new neutral.  It is a nice and different backdrop for many colors!  I love the yellow with it but the different shades of blue look wonderful too.  You are also going to see a lot of grey and yellow prints.  I was looking at the new fabric books and it is everywhere.  Watch for it on Pinterest and also in design magazines!

As I love to help you create new looks within a budget, I wanted to suggest ways to bring the new colors into your home!  In this picture you see wonderful prints with a contemporary design.  Fabric is an easy way to add change inexpensively.  Check out HomeGoods for some fun pillows that incorporate the new colors and designs.  Maybe grey won’t work with your color scheme but yellow will!  If neither of those colors work look at adding some of the fun fabric designs  you see here.  Also, look at updating your window treatments!  Simple panels with the new colors and designs work in almost every room.

Have fun with the new colors and ideas! Let me know what you think of them! j

I have mixed emotions about how this was handled originally. For those that don't remember, it wasRead More basically a secret deal, avoiding proper process. Anyway let's hope it ends well. Finally some economic development. On a technical note I believe the town still owns the Nod Road property with the developer getting a lease for $1 based on meeting certain conditions. I also believe that it was "sold" to residents with the assertion that the developer would remediate the pollution or abandon the property back to the town. Now we find the taxpayer will pay for remediation.
